Imagine adopting a pet from an animal shelter and having that decision affect your life forever. This wonderful story tells how Joy, a pit bull mix, became a hero in the eyes of a Minnesota family.
It all started two years ago, when the family welcomed Joy into their home. Joy instantly connected with everyone, especially the two children, Emilly and Jonas. They were attached, going on adventures together, playing all day, and even sleeping in the same bed each night.

Today, Jonas is alive because of the heroic actions of his beloved companion, Joy. His mother can’t help but express her eternal gratitude, saying, “Without Joy, I wouldn’t want to think about what could have happened to Jonas. Joy saved my son’s life, and we shall be eternally grateful.”
