Kevin Scheunemann, the restaurant’s owner, defended the placard, claiming it was put up nearly four years ago to be honest about his and the staff’s devotion to serving God and nation. Scheunemann claims he displayed the warning in response to a patron’s complaint about Christian music being played in the restaurant. The sign has not caused any further issues after then.
