A MIND-BOGGLING new optical illusion has sent internet users into meltdown.

The colourful illustration shows three children taking a stroll together.

It may look like the kids are unaccompanied, but there is actually the face of their dad hiding in the picture.

Eagle-eyed challengers will be able to make out the figures eyes, nose and mouth.

But have you been able to spot the man in less than five seconds?

Hint: Try looking at the photo upside down.

The face can only just be made out between the first and second child, as it’s almost perfectly concealed into the background.

One of the biggest giveaways is the first child’s crumpled coat, which reveals the chin, nose and mouth.
