Having neglected his mother Diana for years, Adam returns home to find their house destroyed and his mother living in a nursing home. He realizes the depth of his neglect and vows to take care of her from now on.
To afford a trip to New York for her son Adam’s graduation, Diana worked extra babysitting hours.
“Of course, Adam. I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss it! I’m so proud of you!” , she said.
Proud of his achievements, She bought him a watch as a gift, At the graduation, Diana cheered and felt proud, and they enjoyed a celebratory dinner together.
After returning to California, Diana’s calls with Adam became less frequent as he got busy with his job and girlfriend.
Unfortunately, a storm severely damaged their house. And because Diana couldn’t afford repairs, she moved to a nursing home.
Adam, unaware of the situation, returned home to find the house in ruins.
Adam found his mother frail in a nursing home.
“Mom, I’m so sorry for not paying more attention to you. I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me the most,” he sobbed.
Diana reassured him, and Adam promised to take care of her. He repaired their home, moved his business to California, and lived with Diana and his girlfriend, ensuring Diana was never alone again.
“You don’t have to be alone ever again,” he promised.
