Two deaf men were enjoying a coffee break at work, casually chatting about their late-night antics from the evening before.
The first man grinned and signed to his friend, “My wife was already fast asleep when I finally stumbled home around 2:00 a.m. I managed to slip under the covers completely unnoticed, so I’m totally in the clear today!”
The second deaf man sighed heavily and signed back, “Man, you are incredibly lucky. When I got home, my wife was wide awake, sitting upright in bed, and waiting for me. The second I walked through the door, she started furiously signing at me—swearing, nagging, and giving me absolute heck for being out so late.”
The first man winced. “Oh no! That sounds brutal. So, what did you do to make her stop?”
The second man smirked and signed back:
“Easy… I just reached over and turned out the light!”
