Two little boys were lying on stretchers side-by-side in a hospital hallway, nervously waiting to be wheeled into the operating room.
The first boy leaned over and whispered, “Hey, what are you in here for?”
“I’m getting my tonsils out, and I’m really scared,” the second boy admitted.
“Oh, you’ve got nothing to worry about!” the first boy reassured him. “I had that done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake up, they give you all the ice cream and Jell-O you can eat. It’s a total breeze.”
Relieved, the second boy smiled and asked, “Wow, thanks! What about you? What are you getting done?”
“A circumcision,” the first boy replied.
The second boy’s eyes went wide with pure horror as he gasped:
“Whoa, man, good luck! I had that done the day I was born… I couldn’t walk for a whole year!”
