Attila The Hun’s Snake Had One VERY Specific Appetite 😂
There’s an old legend about Attila the Hun that historians rarely talk about.
According to the tale, Attila collected exotic animals from every land he conquered. Lions from the south, wolves from the forests, strange birds from the deserts… but his favorite of all was a massive serpent nearly thirty feet long.
The beast traveled everywhere with him.
It slept beside his tent during campaigns, rode in reinforced wagons during long journeys, and t*rr*fied entire villages before Attila even arrived.
But one winter, the great snake suddenly stopped eating.
At first Attila ignored it.
Then days passed.
Then weeks.
Soon the serpent became weak and barely moved.
Panicked, Attila summoned healers, shamans, surgeons, and mystics from every corner of his empire. None could cure the creature.
Finally, one ancient sage stepped forward and whispered:
“The serpent will eat only the purest food imaginable… unt*uch*d young v*rg*ns.”
Attila loved the answer immediately.
As luck would have it, one of the nearby villages had a convent filled with young nuns.
The women were brought before the snake.
But the serpent merely stared at them.
No hiss.
No movement.
No interest whatsoever.
Attila exploded with rage.
“You lied to me!” he roared at the old sage. “At sunrise, you d*e!”
But the old man remained calm.
“Before my execution,” he said softly, “allow me one final attempt.”
Curious, Attila agreed.
The sage approached the massive serpent, then turned toward Attila and handed him two warm bread rolls.
“Hold these in your hands,” the old man instructed.
Confused, Attila obeyed.
And the SECOND the bread appeared…
The snake’s eyes widened.
Its tongue flicked wildly.
With a violent hiss, the giant serpent lunged forward and sw*ll*wed one of the nuns whole.
Attila stared in absolute shock.
The old sage smiled proudly and said:
“Thy anaconda don’t want nun unless you’ve got buns, Hun.” 😂
