Everyone is saying the same thing about Trump and King Charles photo from UK state banquet

Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK may have been short, but it was full of talking points that we’ve come to predict.

One moment caught the eye as the President was recorded in an image next to King Charles.

But it’s left people questioning the authenticity of the image.

The Royal Photo Controversy: Editing Fail or AI?

One moment quickly went viral.

For an odd reason, the public took notice of a picture of Trump standing next to King Charles III that was shared on the official White House Instagram account.

Although both characters are smiling in the picture, many people were quick to point out what appeared to be an editing error, particularly with regard to Trump’s teeth.

Social media users quickly started pointing out what they believed was an overzealous whitening of Trump’s teeth. One Instagram user wrote: “Whoever did the teeth whitening editing needs to be fired.”

The comment received over 7,000 likes, and others joined in, criticizing the “FaceTune fail”: “The FaceTune teeth whitening was a massive fail. You’re fired!”

A second said: “Now whoever does the editing of press pictures for the White House needs to be fired!! Never saw anything like this ever! How extremely embarrassing.”

The criticism didn’t end there. As one commenter joked, “Is that Donald’s double or is it A-I?” several users even conjectured that the image was produced by artificial intelligence.

Another person added: “Was this picture AI generated?? Looks a bit off.”

There were even comparisons to a wax figure, with one fan saying: “Trump looks like a wax figure.”

Trump and King Charles Discuss the “Special Relationship”

The two leaders reaffirmed the long-standing friendship between the US and the UK while also discussing the unique relationship between the two countries, in addition to Trump’s picture issue.

Trump said that the term “special relationship” did not fully convey the scope of their partnership, citing their shared past: “Together we’ve done more good for humanity than any two countries in all of history.”

In his own speech, King Charles made light of the US-UK relationship and recalled the media’s earlier efforts to strengthen connections between the two nations in the 1970s.

He remarked: “Had the media succeeded in the 1970s in their own attempt at deepening the special relationship, I myself might have been married off within the Nixon family.”

“Today, as tyranny once again threatens Europe, we and our allies stand together in support of Ukraine, to deter aggression and secure peace,” the king said, highlighting the crucial role that the US and UK play in defending Ukraine and thwarting international aggression.
