Finding true friendships can be difficult, which is why one woman set out on a mission to get back in touch with a childhood buddy! When Brianna was a little child, she and her family went on a memorable cruise.
One of the things that made that trip so memorable was meeting a new BFF named Heidi. Unfortunately, although the two girls were inseparable on the trip, they lost touch with each other after the cruise ended. 12 years later, Brianna decided to look up her long lost friend.
The 19-year-old obviously started her hunt online. In the hopes that enough shares would bring her and her childhood friend back together, she reached out to X with a picture of them on the cruise ship.
Surprisingly, the post managed to reach Heidi in under 12 hours, according to USA Today! Her response to her childhood friend was too perfect.
The interesting thing is that Heidi wasn’t a frequent user of X. Actually, she learned that Brianna was attempting to contact her through her pals on the social media app. Unfortunately, it turned out that the pair lived far away from each other.
Don’t worry, though! Eventually, these adorable childhood friends figured out a way to reunite face-to-face! We’re so happy for them.
It’s amazing how strong the bond between childhood friends can be, even if they haven’t reunited for over a decade. Some things are just meant to be!
