John Legend and Chrissy Teigen do not shy away from posting images of their four young children online.
Despite some families preferring to keep their children’s faces hidden, the Hollywood pair frequently shares adorable behind-the-scenes moments that might otherwise go unnoticed by the public.
However, one snapshot that Legend released before this year’s Oscars sparked quite a commotion among the family of six.
Prior to the Academy Awards, Legend tweeted a photo of himself and Esti, who is 13 months old. The two proceeded towards the camera, holding hands and dressed only in tops.
Legend wore half a tuxedo, while young Esti wore a lacy pink dress.
“Ready,” the singer-songwriter wrote below the cute photo.

His followers were eager to respond to the lovely father-daughter encounter. Many people commented on how Legend appeared to be prepared to work from home, saying, “Must be ready for a zoom meeting!”
However, many others did not find the photo hilarious and instead chastised the father of four for not wearing pants.
“John I know you meant well with this pic. What’s wrong with you showing the world you look like you have no underwear on as well! Looking at the bottom of your shirt. You are a father… Have some type of respect. Why post this… Some things you must think about before you post. This doesn’t look too good. I definitely love all the talent you have. This is just not cute!!!”

Legend later took to Instagram to reassure his supporters that he did indeed wear pants at the Oscars.
