After Justin and Hailey Bieber announced the birth of their first child on Friday, fans went into overdrive.
Many people have speculated about the meaning behind their son’s unusual name, while others have gushed about Hailey’s impeccable manicure.
Justin uploaded a photo of his wife cradling their newborn’s foot, confirming Hailey had given birth and that the baby was safe at home.
“WELCOME HOME, JACK BLUES BIEBER,” he captioned the shot, highlighting his son’s semi-traditional name with a little rock ‘n’ roll twist.
It’s thought that ‘Jack’ is an homage to Justin’s father, Jeremy, with one person tweeting: “Jack Blues Bieber Jack is from Justin’s dad […] And Blues is because he is a boy, I guess, BIEBER.”
Someone else added, “BABY BIEBER IS HERE, AND IT’S A BOY!! I’m guessing he was named after his grandfather, since Jeremy’s middle name is Jack. I’M SOOOOOOO HAPPY!! They’re going to be the BEST parents!!”
People said that the couple’s son kept a Bieber family tradition of using the initials ‘JB’, as did Justin’s half-siblings Jazmyn and Jaxon.
While many were deciphering the moniker, others were undoubtedly rushing to the nail salon to replicate Hailey’s new mother manicure.
And it turns out there’s more to the appearance than meets the eye, as Justin was actually the one who made the style decision.
Hailey’s manicurist Zola Ganzorigt characterized the design to Vogue as a’more muted nudish white micro French on almond-shaped nails’, which is a change from the lively, colorful artwork she occasionally wears.
“Justin has been choosing Hailey’s nail design lately, and it was his request,” Ganzorigt told the outlet.
Hailey has already expressed her wish to raise her family outside of the spotlight, like her own parents, Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, did.
However, she admits that the attention is ‘probably totally unavoidable’.
“That was before I was married,” the Rhode founder told GQ. “Didn’t know who I was going to be married to at the time, I’m sure.
“Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18.
“It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet.
“And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”
