Keith Lionel Urban AO (born Urbahn on October 26, 1967) is an Australian and American singer, guitarist, and songwriter best recognized for his work in country music.

Urban won four Grammy Awards, fifteen Academy of Country Music Awards, including the Jim Reeves International Award, thirteen CMA Awards, and six ARIA Music Awards.

Urban composed and performed the song “For You” from the film Act of Valor, which earned him nominations for Best Original Song at the 70th Golden Globe Awards and 18th Critics’ Choice Awards, respectively.

Urban has released 11 studio albums (one of which was released only in Australia), as well as one album with the Ranch.

He has charted 37 singles on the US Hot Country Songs chart, 18 of which went to number one, counting a duet with Brad Paisley (“Start a Band”) and the 2008 single “You Look Good in My Shirt”.

Urban also worked with numerous artists from different music genres, such as Pink, Nelly Furtado, Jason Derulo, Julia Michaels, and country artists like Dolly Parton, The Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Eric Church, and Reba McEntire.

Last night, the paparazzi saw Keith Urban at Sydney Airport. This has led many people to think he may be the exceptional performer at Toowoomba’s “It’s A Bloke Thing” luncheon, which is highly anticipated.

Later that day, he arrived at Wellcamp Airport to a crowd of 500 eager people, each of whom had paid $1 to attend this one-of-a-kind event aimed at raising awareness and cash for prostate cancer research.

This is a cause near to Urban’s heart; his father, Robert, died from the disease in December 2015, and several other family members have been impacted.

Keith Urban, a well-known country singer-songwriter, recently returned to his native Australia to support the It’s a Bloke Thing Foundation.

Since its inception seven years ago, this charitable event has raised millions of dollars to support prostate cancer awareness and research.

In 2017, this wonderful project garnered more than $1.53 million in donations from kind members of the local community.

It is now considered one of the nation’s most efficient lunchtime fundraising initiatives.

Keith generously offered his talents for free, contributing to the lunchtime fundraising and helping it set a new record of $2,024,000.00.

His unselfish gestures of generosity contributed significantly to the event’s success, raising substantial money for the philanthropic cause.
