Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked the world by announcing their decision to leave the Royal Family and the United Kingdom in 2020.
The effect of their decision is questionable, but it appears that they have become pioneers of a new trend!
According to recent press sources, another Royal couple has opted to depart the United Kingdom, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And then start a new life in another nation.
According to reports, Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall, have decided to leave the UK. They intend to go to Australia. Zara Tindell is Princess Anne’s daughter and King Charles’ niece.
Mike is a former rugby player who has strong ties to Australia. Zara met him back in 2003. Interestingly, Prince Harry was the one who introduced the pair to one another.
A recent trip appears to have sparked the idea in Zara and Mike’s hearts.
“During their latest Australian trip, Zara admitted the couple ‘couldn’t ask for a better way to start the year.’ The pair’s connection to Australia is deeply rooted,” James Leyfield revealed.
Even though Zara and Mike are not working with the Royals, their relationship with Australia and potential relocation could benefit the Royal family. The action may help enhance relations between the Royal Family and Australia.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond feels Zara and Mike have the best of both worlds by being members of the Royal family but not working Royals. The pair currently resides in Gatcombe Park.
The future of their home is also frequently discussed in the media. However, Ingrid Stewart of Majesty Magazine feels that even if they relocate. Zara and her brother, Peter Phillips, will continue to own the house.
