Since Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family, she and her Suits co-stars have largely remained silent about her time on the popular legal drama.
Becoming a duchess comes with certain expectations, so she stepped away from acting after marrying Prince Harry.
Understandably, fans have been curious to hear from her former co-stars about what it was like working with her and whether they still keep in touch.
Meghan Markle, a mother of two, portrayed Rachel Zane in the hit legal drama Suits starting in 2011, alongside Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, and Sarah Rafferty, who played elite lawyers in New York City.
Although she initially had a minor role, Meghan quickly became a fan favorite—even winning over Prince William and the Princess of Wales, who were known to watch the show.
However, after she began dating Prince Harry in 2016, she had to gradually distance herself from the entertainment industry.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot in 2018 after dating for two years and later welcomed two children, Archie and Lilibet.
As a member of the monarchy, Meghan had to uphold certain public standards, leading her to speak less and less about her time on Suits.
Fortunately, that hasn’t stopped her former co-stars from sharing their experiences of working with her on set.
While most cast members have only praised Meghan, Patrick J. Adams—who played her on-screen love interest, Mike Ross—appears to have more mixed feelings about their past collaboration.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year, Patrick J. Adams gave a blunt three-word response when asked if he still keeps in touch with Meghan, years after he and the Suits cast attended her royal wedding.
Both Adams and Gabriel Macht, who played Harvey Spectre, were among the Suits stars present at the ceremony. Adams, whose character Mike Ross was Meghan’s on-screen love interest, didn’t hold back when asked about their current relationship.
“Zero. No communication,” he replied.
Macht also revealed that he hadn’t been in touch with Meghan, apart from seeing her public support for the show’s resurgence.
Despite Adams’ curt response, he later clarified that there’s no bad blood between them—just a natural drifting apart over time.
“I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don’t know what I would say,” he told Radio Times.
He added that after their children were born, they exchanged texts and gifts, but he admitted feeling hesitant about reaching out.
“I think it’s pure fear,” he confessed. “I guess I’m scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation.”
