A woman had finally had enough.
Everyone kept telling her she wasn’t “handy” around the house.
So one morning, after her husband left for work, she made a decision.
“Today, I’m installing that new ceiling fan all by myself!”
Hours later, her husband came home.
The living room looked like a tornado had passed through.
A ladder stood in the middle of the room.
Tools were scattered everywhere.
Screws covered the floor.
And there sat his wife on the couch…
Calmly fanning herself with a newspaper.
He looked around and asked,
“Honey… what happened?”
She sighed dramatically.
“I did everything exactly the way the instructions said…”
“…but the stupid fan still won’t work.”
Curious, he looked up.
The ceiling fan was installed perfectly.
Straight.
Level.
Not a single screw missing.
He picked up the instruction manual and started reading.
Then he laughed.
The next line said,
“Before use, connect to a power source.”
His wife smiled proudly.
“Already did!”
He blinked.
“You… did?”
She nodded.
“Yep!”
“I sat underneath it for almost an hour…”
“…waiting for the power to show up.” 😂
